GE Ovation Mid-Field Open MRI

The GE Ovation mid-field open MRI system is available at Orlando Orthopaedic Center.  The GE Ovation has full body capabilities backed by state of the art technology. It is practically well suited for spine scanning and all orthopedic applications.

The Ovation is a patient friendly open MRI scanner designed to accommodate patients who are claustrophobic and others who have difficulty tolerating the close quarters of conventional MRI scanners.

By providing lighting, ventilation and a patient music system (bring your favorite CD) we will make every effort to make your scan time as comfortable as possible, without compromising image quality.

If an Orlando Orthopaedic Center physician requests that you receive an MRI, you will be able to make your MRI appointment at check-out from your office visit.

Extremity-Only MRI

Orlando Orthopaedic Center is also home to an ARTOSCAN “extremity only” MRI system in the Downtown (Lucerne Medical Plaza) location.

In an effort to promote overall patient care and convenience, the state-of-the art system will allow our physicians to obtain MR images of the knee, hand, wrist, foot, ankle and elbow.

If an Orlando Orthopaedic Center physician requests that you receive an MRI of an extremity, you will be able to make your MRI appointment at check-out from your office visit.
