2016 High School Sports Physicals
Every year the Orlando Orthopaedic Center Foundation partners with area schools to offer high school sports physicals to their respective students without making or asking for any monetary return. Each school charges a small nominal fee for each physical, which is then donated back to that particular school’s athletic department.
Physicians and sports medicine specialists from Orlando Orthopaedic Center donate roughly 250 hours of time (valued at $50,000) to the events from April to August. Many of the students would not be able to afford these necessary sports screenings if it weren’t for the reduced costs offered at these events.
