Athletic Trainers

Orlando Orthopaedic Center Foundation is recognized by the Board of Certification, Inc. to offer continuing education for Certified Athletic Trainers. This program has been approved for a maximum of 6.0 hours of Category A continuing education. Certified Athletic Trainers are responsible for claiming only those hours actually spent participating in the continuing education activity.

Physicians & Physician Assistants

The AAFP has reviewed 2024 20th Annual Orthopaedic Update Conference and deemed it acceptable for up to 6.00 Live AAFP Prescribed credit. Term of Approval is from 8/24/2024 to 8/24/2024. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Nurses

This course has been approved by the Florida Board of Nursing (FBON) to award 6.0 continuing education hours.

Occupational Therapists & Occupational Therapy Assistants

This course is not approved by the Florida Occupational Therapy Association (FOTA) for Occupational Therapist and/or Occupational Therapy Assistants; however, attendees may self-report to the FOTA for CE credit.

Program Evaluation and Certificate of Attendance

Attendees will receive an electronic Program Evaluation and Participant Assessment via email after the completion of the program. Attendees must be present for the entire program and submit a post-program evaluation to receive contact hours/credits. A Certificate of Attendance will be sent electronically via email only after the submission of the post-program evaluation. Attendees are asked to retain the email as record of their continuing education activity.
