2026 Cutting Edge Sports Medicine Conference Welcomes 550+ Attendees

The 22nd Annual Cutting Edge Sports Medicine Conference, hosted by the Orlando Orthopaedic Center Foundation, brought together more than 550 sports medicine professionals on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at the Rosen Centre Hotel. This one-day event continues to be a leading force in advancing orthopaedic education in Central Florida and enhancing patient care.

An Event Dedicated to Advancing Sports Medicine

Led by orthopaedic experts, this year’s sessions provided cutting-edge insights into the latest advancements in musculoskeletal and orthopaedic treatments for athletes. Attendees gained valuable, real-world applications for injury prevention, rehabilitation, and surgical innovations, all aimed at helping athletes return to peak performance safely and efficiently.

A Commitment to Education & Philanthropy

Beyond education, the Orlando Orthopaedic Center Foundation remains committed to giving back to the sports medicine community. This year, the foundation donated $2,500 to UCF Physical Therapy Research. 

Proceeds from the event also help fund:

• The Orlando Orthopaedic Center Foundation Scholarship is awarded to a deserving UCF student-athlete trainer.
• The Chris Payer Honorary Sports Medicine Scholarship supports a local athletic training student aide.
