Randy S. Schwartzberg, M.D., recently spoke with WESH 2 News reporter Greg Fox about Orlando Orthopaedic Center resuming elective surgeries following a temporary ban as a result of COVID-19.

Dr. Schwartzberg explained a backlog of surgeries over the past several weeks meant some patients were left living with pain while waiting for a new surgery date.

“There are a tremendous amount of patients that really have been in a lot of pain.”

He says Orlando Orthopaedic Center is now scheduling elective surgeries and follow-up visits to quickly move patient care forward and provide relief to patients throughout Central Florida.
