Alexander Perri, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant at Orlando Orthopaedic Center. He brings nearly a decade of high-volume clinical and surgical experience to the team, specializing in Orthopaedic surgery, sports medicine, and advanced wound care.
Alexander earned both his Bachelor of Health Science and his Master of Physician Assistant Science from Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania. During his undergraduate studies, he also completed a minor in Sports and Exercise Science, providing him with a strong foundational understanding of musculoskeletal mechanics and athletic recovery.
Prior to joining Orlando Orthopaedic Center, Alexander spent eight years at a prominent orthopaedic and sports medicine practice in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. During this time, he served as a first assist in thousands of surgical procedures, ranging from robotic-assisted total joint replacements to complex trauma reconstructions and spine surgeries. His extensive clinical background includes independently managing urgent care clinics and performing advanced ultrasound and X-ray-guided injections for the hip, knee, shoulder, and hand.
Alexander is also an Advanced Wound Care Certified (AWCC) specialist. He has significant experience utilizing advanced modalities, such as negative pressure wound therapy and cellular-based products, to treat acute, chronic, and surgical wounds. This specialized skill set allows him to provide comprehensive perioperative care, ensuring patients have a seamless and safe recovery from surgery to discharge.
He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Physician Assistants in Orthopaedic Surgery. Alexander is dedicated to providing empathetic, evidence-based care and clear patient education to help individuals return to their active lifestyles.
At Orlando Orthopaedic Center, Alexander treats patients as an assistant to Christopher S. Warrell, M.D., who specializes in sports medicine, elbow, knee, and shoulder surgery.
