Daniel Bilyard, PA-C

Daniel Bilyard, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant at Orlando Orthopaedic Center with a diverse background in orthopaedics, pediatrics, emergency medicine, and military healthcare. He specializes in evaluating and treating musculoskeletal conditions, assists in surgery, and manages routine and complex orthopaedic cases across inpatient and outpatient settings.

Daniel is a U.S. Army veteran and recipient of the Army Commendation Medal for exemplary duty in Afghanistan. He brings more than a decade of combined clinical and field experience to his role. He earned his Master of Clinical Health Services through the MEDEX Northwest Physician Assistant Program at the University of Washington, completing orthopaedic surgery, emergency medicine, and pain management rotations.

Before joining Orlando Orthopaedic Center, Daniel was a Nemours Children’s Health physician assistant, treating patients from birth through adolescence. He also has extensive experience as a medical assistant in orthopaedics and pediatrics and previously served as a Healthcare Specialist in the U.S. Army, where he triaged emergency cases and supported trauma care.

He holds certifications in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Basic Life Support (BLS). He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants, and the American Pediatric Surgery Association.

Outside of work, Daniel is actively involved in community service and enjoys spending time outdoors with his family.

At Orlando Orthopaedic Center, Daniel assists Michael D. Riggenbach, M.D., with the management of his practice.
