This program focuses on evidence based practices for use of the latest technology and surgical procedures used to treat orthopaedic conditions associated with musculoskeletal trauma of the hand, wrist, pelvis, spine, foot, ankle, and hip. It includes a brief overview of the related anatomy as well as rehabilitation considerations for non-operative treatment options and post-surgical therapy protocols. Program content is designed to assist healthcare providers with acquiring the skills and knowledge to provide quality care and improve patient outcomes.

Our physicians are currently involved in the use and/or development of multiple orthopaedic research projects.

The team is actively working toward better ways to improve and advance patient care following surgery. Studies are designed to shorten recovery time and decrease pain levels in orthopaedic patients.

A $50 ($95 for MD, DO & PA, $35 for students [no CEUs given for students]) registration fee covers the program, continuing education credits, and lunch. All proceeds will benefit the 501 (c)(3) nonprofit Orlando Orthopaedic Center Foundation. Please make checks payable to Orlando Orthopaedic Center Foundation. Registration received after midnight July 22 is $75 ($110 for MD, DO & PA). On-site registration can not guarantee food selection.
