Welcome William W. Baldwin, M.D., Our Newest Physician

We are excited to announce William W. Baldwin, M.D., has joined the Orlando Orthopaedic Center team and is now seeing patients at our Downtown Orlando and Lake Nona locations.

Dr. Baldwin completed his fellowship training in Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy and is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon. He specializes in sports medicine, musculoskeletal conditions, injury recovery, arthritis, arthroplasty, and the use of minimally invasive techniques.

A Jacksonville native, Dr. Baldwin studied Biochemistry at the University of Florida, where he graduated Cum Laude while attending on a 100% Bright Futures Scholarship. He went on to receive his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Florida College of Medicine, graduating with honors in research. For his work, he was awarded a Lawrence M. Goodman Research Scholarship. 

After graduating, Dr. Baldwin remained in Florida to complete his orthopaedic surgery internship and residency at Orlando Health, where he served as chief resident during his final year and received both the Exemplary Colleague Physician Award and CAPI Best Resident Award. He went on to pursue a Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy fellowship at the acclaimed James Andrews Institute.

Dr. Baldwin has extensive experience treating sports injuries and has served as a physician to numerous professional and collegiate teams, including the Washington Redskins, Washington Nationals, Orlando City Soccer Team, and Auburn University Football. 

As an orthopaedic surgeon, Dr. Baldwin is committed to education and serves as a faculty member at the Orlando Health Orthopaedic Surgery Residency, where he gives lectures and demonstrates surgical techniques to new surgeons. 

When he’s not assisting patients, Dr. Baldwin enjoys spending time with his family outside, surfing, biking, hunting, and backpacking in Florida’s great outdoors.
